Did you know that you can tell a lot about your pet and his behavior just by knowing his zodiac sign? If you know your dog or cats birthday, you will be able to understand why they act the way they do.

As an example I will use those born between April 20- May 20. These pets were born under the sign of Taurus. Those born under this sign, tend to be stubborn. They love comfort and gravitate towards blankets and pillows and they love soft bedding. They are quite docile.

They do not have an abundant amount of energy, which would make them not very suitable for someone who wanted a companion animal that would go jogging or take long hikes. The Taurus pets sleep for large amounts of time and they absolutely love their meals. If you are a couch potato, a Taurus pet is your ideal companion.

In appearance they tend to have a thick neck, broader then average faces and move rather slowly in comparison with other animals of their same breed or species. They are very patient and do carry a temper, but not in a violent way.

Taurus pets are rather sociable and although they love to be home, they do welcome the opportunity to visit others for short periods of time. They love music and enjoy being handled, petted and given a lot of attention.

I personally own two Taurus dogs and they are wonderful. Our oldest labrador mix was seven when we brought the youngest an 8 week old into our home. They instantly became best friends and are currently age 11 and 4.
